Turbo to down pipe gasket
I have an exhaust leak blowing from the flange on the turbo exhaust turbine outlet where it connects to the dump/drop pipe for the exhaust system. Looks like the previous owner has worked on it as there is gasket sealant around it.
Is this common to blow or is it common for it to warp with age/heat/stress? Just wondering if I need to do more than just pull it apart and put a new gasket in.

Fixed this today. Turns out the actual nuts had decided to go walk abouts (I assume they had come loose and then rattled off). I put new flange nuts on (wasn't sure what was originally there), then put a second nut on and locked them into each other. Used a Loctite silver product to stop them seizing on the thread permanently with the heat.
I got a new gasket, put Loctite 596? (I think) High temperature sealant on it and put it back together. Tested it a couple of hours later and it's not leaking.
