i completely fushed the harness as per the tutorial in the good oil but have not cracked the ECU yet is it possible to have oil ingress into the ECU? i will crack it today just to be sure, after i check the crank angle sensor again thanks slug burnerQuote:

Sounds like youve tried just about everything so I'll be brief
To stop the guess work you need to put it on some sort of diagnosis equipment to check the firing of the injectors and if that is all checking out ok I would be suspecting the fuel passage in the cylinder head as the earlier td5s had a problem with the fuel system leaking into the cylinders.
The last thing I would check would be the oil level (has it increased)

Thank you mechanictoyou have been pulling out what little of my hair is left may i ask what part of wollongong do you live? i have family down that way.
and no the oil level is the same as it was when i did the last oil change, the motor itself is great, im pretty sure its the fuel delivery system thats up to S**T
