Rough, idle no power, vibration right through rev range

hey guys i know this propbably has been touched on before but im at the limits of my diagnosing skills.
Firstly the car started running rough like it had oil in the injector harness again, prompltly pulled plugs and cleand with electrical contact cleaner, car started running fine. Next day started running rough again, pulled plugs and gave a thourough clean by pumping metho through the wires and blowing out with compressed air. NO change still runs rough, checked maf plug, ambient air plug for oily gunge, nothing clean as, only two things i can think of is faulty injector/s or stuffed engine mounts anyone else have any thought on waht my proplem could be plus if anyone is in the maclean NSW area with a nanocom id love to have a chat Thanks guys

Based on the fact that the first time you pulled the plugs and cleaned it ran better, i would be looking at everything from dizzy, leads to plugs.

Try removing the leads one at a time while on idle, if the idle gets worse that cylinder is firing fine, move onto the next one.
If you remove one and it makes no difference chances are that that is your culprit.

You can swap plug with the one next to it and check if problem moves to that cylinder? If not try swapping leads (at both ends not just at plug end).

    ah, no worries.
Another thing to possibly add to your list then:
    Bad fuel?

I'd look at the MAF and clean the element not the plug, get yourself some MAF cleaner and spray the element then let it dry naturally (don't touch the element with anything)

If you have access to a Nanocom, check the flow rate of the MAF, it should be 60 to 80 at idle, 500 to 600 under load at 3000RPM.

Look at the wastegate modulator, it could be stuffed.

    Blocked fuel filter

Also have the fuel pump checked for pressure, it could be on it's way out.

Battery voltage, sometimes low battery voltage can cause problems.

    Delaminated intercooler hoses

    Blocked or stuck EGR valve.

I also wouldn't rule out oil in the harness.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

    thanks redback
i cleaned the maf about 2 weeks ago with the maf cleaner, this afternoon i replaced the fuel filter, battery voltage is great, checked the harness and it was still clean jacked up the motor to take weight off the engine mounts: no change, an i dont have a Egr valve anymore so thats off the list, so just ahve to check intercooler hoses wastgate moduator and unfortunately i dont have access to a nanocom and while i was pushing the car out of the shed so the missus could get the falcon out i almost tore the front drivers side door off on the house (glad i have some panel beating tools), I tell ya what if it was raining vagina's id get slapped in the head with a COCK

Update fella's car will not even start now but fuel pump is till running disconnected the fuel inlet to the fuel cooler and ran the pump and the diesel just dribbled out not a whole lot of pressure, should it be like that or does it rocket out like i think it should? any one bought a pump/sender unit from the UK, the $700 they are asking for over here is a bit hard to swallow compared to $250 delivered from the uk

I would consider removing the pump assembly and checking that there isn't a split in the pressure hose to the sender head.

did you check to see if oil had run down the harness into the ECU?
