    Finally installed new airbags

    Hi all,
This afternoon I finally installed my new rear airbags that I purchased some months ago from UK. I'm glad I have finally done it, all up took about 50mins including taking photos. I'll post up some pics in a minute for anyone who is interested. For some reason the server is busy tonight and everytime I try to submit this thread I get logged off.
    Cheers Matt

I suppose is six of one, half a dozen of another,
-take the time to undo the compressor lines and reuse ALL the airline
    or
-leave the compressor alone and cut the line (gently) near the bag input fitting and hope theres an inch of slack you can pull through.

Either way you need to push the line home BEFORE remounting the bag,,

    were they Trellborg bags Matt?

    Hi Pedro,
The rear airbags were Dunlop items from Paddock spares total cost at time 127.60 pounds for airbags and 58.00 pounds for delivery. On the instructions it does say they are Trelleborg Pneuride springs. I followed the instructions provided for trimming lines to remove threaded nut and used the same method as described by Tombie with his lift kit for deflating airbags, only about 5mm or so was removed from lines (cut behind olive as shown in attached pic), so there is still some slack.

My Paddocks supplied bags came with push in connectors too.

AND.... I didn't have to cut anything. The olive just parted up & slid off the end.
