    are they supposed to just lift back up or was there a lever release (I couldn't spot one, andI've got mine stuck down now too lol, )

    hah, not stuck at all, I just didn't realise the fabric strap was the release lol. Thank you. I did take the opportunity while was at it to wd40 bits. Thanks for your help
