Anyone else have to bang their taillights with their fist?

I have to hit my taillights at times to make one or both parking bulbs on each side illuminate. I have changed bulbs and made sure they are positioned correctly but still intermittent probs. Anyone found a fix? Cheers

No, but I just glued one back together on the weekend along with the rear bar. They do get full of dust, Try cleaning the contacts on the plug.

I know yours is a D2 and ours was a D1 but hh searched for years to find a fault...nothing, so it was common practice to hit the tail light when ever it decided not to work
