    Angry Radiator query?

    hi all,
spent most of yesterday pulling out my TD5's radiator, oil cooler and intercooler (upgraded) to remove a s##t load of grass seeds that had almost completely blocked all airflow through the radiators (due to a well and truly off-road escapade )
problem is, putting it all back together I have a hosetail (1/2" I think) coming out of the radiator between the fuel cooler and lower radiator hose on the drivers side that I don't seem to have a hose for even though I thought I remembered taking one off this fitting.
If anybody can advise me as to whether this is a blank fitting or does in fact have an associated hose connected (and where it goes to) it would be greatly appreciated. I have the rave cd however it only talks about and has pics for the V8 only (is there a rave version that does have info/pics for the TD5 ?)

    regards ..... dave

Does it open into the radiator?
There has been some talk on this conection of late.
One to the fuel cooler and one to a pipe leading around the back of the head and onto a steped hose to the oil cooler.
"Borowed" this from another post, hope it helps.

    Cheers, Kyle

    Radiator Query?

    AlienD2,
    thanks for the reply.
I've had another look at the hosetail and poked a cotton bud up inside to see if it does actually go through into the radiator... seems to come up a bit short so I suspect that it may be blanked off and therefore did not have a hose connected in the first place... would would be quite on the cards... my memory seem to be failing me a lot these days
    thanks again .... dave
