ABS sensor - output low after new CV's. Any ideas?
I had the CV's and front axles replaced a while ago, and after picking up the Disco the 3 amigos were apparent. On startup the ABS light remains on, and then after driving off and braking the the other amigos come on.
After some interrogation with a borrowed Mr Anti-Amigo, the fault clears ok, but then returns. Here is the enduring fault report:

1.--Current Faults---->
Active Faults:
None
Logged Faults:
044:Front Right sensor output low
<-END Faults
~~~~~~~~~~~~
So from what I can gather, the reading from the sensor is low. I tested this with the multimeter at 1086k ohms which is within spec according to RAVE, I checked, rechecked, and then spat on (in hope and disgust) the connector with no luck. Perhaps I should go and spit on it and the rest of it again. I've pulled on the wires in hope of triggering the fault but without any result.
This now leaves me wondering if the hub was reinstalled incorrectly or is it easy to damage during the installation of the CV's - is this a possibility? I read something about air gap between the sensor and the exciter - is this also a possibility?
Cheers
