    battery warning light on

Just had a great day at Loveday 4x4 and took a dip in the mud just before we left. Now the battery warning light is on permanently. I've cleaned the engine bay and alternator but this has made no difference. There are no unusual noises either?
Any suggestions as to probable cause for light being on as I'm guessing the alternator could be contaminated?

    Cheers

Mud in the brush pack. Remove your brush pack and clean the slurry out of it.

Although the alternator issue has now been rectified the electric brake controller has now stopped working. I've checked the obvious things such as wiring, fuse and connection at the trailer plug socket but nothing is out of place? The brake unit is a Prodigy and is about a year old and it stopped working when the battery died?

Also I have a stuffed factory CD player now which requires a code, is there a code I can use or is this a trip to the dealer?

    Cheers

Cant help with the prodigy, but there should be a code for the CD in the owners books. Code 1111 will get you going for about 10mins AFAIR before turning off agin. If its not in the books you can contact Eurovox via their website or go to the dealer.

    cheers
