    Engine Saver saves, yet again.

How good is the Engine Saver product? Bloody brilliant.

First thing this morning I loaded up the car with all of the gear that's required to take to the hospital. Yep, today is the day the missus is booked in to ne induced for the birth of our first kid.

Half way there, the engine saver alarm goes off. Dammit. Why today?!?!

So I pull over, pop the bonnet and the hose had popped off the top of the thermostat housing (I think it was the thermostat housing?? Bell shaped thing in-between the reservoir and engine?).
In any case, the screw clamp that holds it on wasn't particularly tight.

    Good work engine saver!

Hopefully it's as easy as going back to the car later, attaching and tightening the hose, filling up the fluid and driving off.

I don't think there's anything else I should be aware of? Let me know if I should lookout for anything in particular.

    Glad to hear it works!
I know I have a satisfying smirk on my face everytime I start my D2 up and hear that little "beep"!

Congrats on the news of the sprogg too mate.
Hope all goes well for the missus. Wishing your new family all the very best for the future.
Keep us in the know if its a pink one or a blue one...??

    Cheers bud,

Thanks Kieren. We already know it's going to be a pink one! The Disco dropping it's coolant certainly added to the thrill of the morning. The missus pipes up and says, "poor big bastard... He knew what was happening and **** himself!"

A quick follow up on this; given the importance of using same for same fluids, I rang Range Rove out in Vermont, who did the recent work on the heads, to find out what coolant they used whe they did the work. He said that they use a specific blend and told me to just fill it with water, drive to their garage and they'll flush it out and fill it again for me.
    Gotta love honest advice.

Don't think it's recommended to consume coffee if you are breast feeding.

I'd like to think at least that it'll be Chris's missus doing the feeding rather than the alternative lol
