I have just ordered some of these, didn't realise they were Chinese. Who's to say Valeo don't have them made in China anyhow and what is being sold are originals?

After seeing how easy the key is to remove from the fob and having one stuck in the ignition barrel with fob in hand, I decided to use araldite and glue the key into the fob.
Don't know what stupid reason LR had for making such a shallow holding for the metal key.

I have a key blade on the way, will order a new body, just the crucial component remains to be found.

Thought the idea was that it deliberately put in a weak point to break the key without 'breaking' the key off....

I bought one of these when my buttons broke. They look exaclty the same, but they definately feel like copies. The plastic is rougher in the surface and buttons are not as smooth as the originals. Still, they more than do the trick and work just as well (so far).

My new key fob case arrived today, and it seems better than the real one.
Took just 15days, got to be happy with that.
