    Keys

    For the second time my D2 key has gone through the washing machine. I am surprised to find it still works, but it has a little bit of moisture inside, so i have pulled it apart to dry out. Will removing the battery need it to be reset somehow?

    Removing the battery won't effect the key. If you remove the battery you may as well pop out the circuit board and give it a clean with a light brush and gently dry it with a hair dryer (only warm it, not too hot). I repaired a wet corroded key by this method a few days ago and it works now.

    Hi guys,
    A handy hint for this is to use a product called "CO2-Contact Clean".
    Comes in a Blue & White spray tin & draws moisture away from the key circuit board as well as cleans the key board. Have used it many times to repair keys.

    Yes but sure there are other like products out there . Whoever makes LPS does one . I have only used the crc one thou as thats all work supplies
    Just used it to clean the air flow sensor as well .
