Removing / replacing D2 windscreen finishers

    Hey gang,

I just broke the tabs off the RHS windscreen side finisher trying to get it off. I even followed the directions in RAVE - obviously not very well... :-/ grr

How do you safely remove these, and then replace them? Special tools needed?

    Cheers

    Wil

Top clip on my passenger side gone too.
Flapping around on freeway and very irritating.

Can't see any possible way of re-attaching it to the clip.
Had a price of $90+postage from TRS for a new one
(whole piece, not just the clip!).

    Watching with interest....

I think they are just another very average design. You can buy them for between 62 - 68 dollars genuine from the UK. $62 for LHS and $68 for RHS. This is what I'm doing when I get around to it.

I recently replaced the plenum and noticed when the windscreen was last replaced they just used the same window silastic to stick it back to the frame (for the one which was broken). This did work but my preference is to replace with new ones.

    Regards
    Andrew
