Arrow Leaking again - this time in the rear!

I just got home from being away for 3 weeks with work. Moved the Discovery down the side driveway, down a slope front first, only to have a bucket load of water pour through the rear sunroof switch onto the floor!

So now I have another roof leak - as well as my leaking B pillars that I still haven't checked out.

Worst of it is that it's only been three months since I had the roof lining down to fix the front sunroofs drain tubes. I even check the rear sunroofs then and they were fine so I siliconed around them just for preventive purposes.

Definitely putting me off ever buying a car with a sunroof!

A sunroof specialist explained to me that the sealing agent used on these sunroofs eventually cracks and they start leaking. The drain pipes aren't designed to move large amounts of water only the odd bit that may find its way in. He removed both roofs on my 2000ES and gave them a birthday cleaned and resealed. They have never leaked again. The best thing to do would be to reseal them both.

    Regards

    Paul
