    option B easier

    Just undertook option B today. If you don't want to remove the modulator, take approximately 1 cm off each end of a 4mm allen key. It makes bolt removal easier.

    or use a hex bit in a 1/4 socket & wrench

    Still easier

    When I did mine I didn't need to cut up or knock together any special tools.

    I just romove the modulator from the mounts (all brake lines in place). Lifted it high enough (~30 - 50 mm) to insert the Allen key. No probs. I did remove the brake line braces from the firewall to give more play.
