No problems at all Wardy. If you PM me your address and I'll make some up and send some over. Do you want to give me any details of your roof rack bars? I'm using typical rhino bars and one of the plates slides inside it, while the other sits ontop. Let me know any particulars.
Maybe a Dan Murphys voucher or something like that would just fit the bill!

					Love your work Barney!

I don't suppose you'd be up to the task to make another?
obviously in trade of a Dan Murphys voucher!

I have the rhino heavy duty aero bars, which use a large square flat bolt which sits in the tube and then goes up as opposed to bolting down into the rack... (if that makes sense).

I reckon I could get the bolts from the rhino rack outlets.

According to rhino rack... "no it is impossible to make hi-lift jack holders for aero bars"

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Barney, great DIY, nothing more satisfying.
The only question I have relates to strength in the event of an accident, a HILIFT is a missile waiting to happen.
Are the holding bolts high-tensile? Mainly the one on the screw handle.
There will be some huge shear forces if you hit something.
4mm brackets will last a lifetime of rough roads and a possible rapid deceleration.
I'm not trying to be a taker, just seen too many things scattered around accident sites that shouldn't be there.
Cheers, Dave
