    D2 cargo barrier vs D1

    Can anyone enlighten me on the differences between D1 and D2 cargo barriers? I understand they are different and not interchangable, but how different are they?

    Is it just shape?
    Are the mounting holes in both D1 and D2 cars in the same places?
    Is the mounting hardware the same?
    How hard would it be to modify one from a D1 to fit into a D2?

    I tried to fit my old D1 cargo barrier to my D2 on the weekend, no way will mine fit maybe as I have the 5 seater? I found that the D1 barrier was to wide at the bottom, from what I can see mounting points are the same you drill your own holes, I though about cutting it to suit but is a lot of mucking around.
    good news is I found a place that sells them for $350 brand new, Les Richmond Landrover in Thomastown Vic, when the tax chq arrives I will going to get one

    Thanks I was thinking this would be the case. $350 is a good price, then I need it shipped to Adelaide. Will keep it in mind.
