    two questions

    Hi,

    I have two questions:

    Is there a way to disarm the immobilizer without the key?

    and also... under duress from the mrs, this car is headed to market.... my question is if it is better to try and sell as parts or as is?

    There is a manual key code that you can use. Involves using the key in the door and turning it in a certain sequence back and forth. If you don't have the code, you can get it from the dealer.

    Fair cop. I sort of assumed he meant with no remote operation, rather than no key. He's talking immobilizer which hinted that he was past the door and rest of alarm.

    Hard to answer your questions as we don;t know what you're thinking of selling.... V8 or Td5, manual/auto, condition of the vehicle etc etc.
    If you intend wrecking it and selling parts, do you have the knowledge and tools to dismantle it? Also do you have the time to do it?
