    Drivers door cable

My 2002 TD5 drivers door has got progressively less responsive to opening from the inside. It appears that the cable connecting the lever to the lock has stretched a tiny bit. I cannot see any adjustment points (the way a bicycle brake cable has adjustable ends). Bending the tab (towards the rear) which holds the cable at the lever end has cured it. I would like to know if there is a better, less bodgy, fix?

Never looked inside my door but it sounds like the inner cable has streched.
Your solution is about what I would have done

Pedro - I dont think so. The cable from the internal handle appears to pull on a different lever on the mechanism to the one external handle pulls on.
