They look magic. Would be awesome if we could work something out to get them here.
Cheers,

I wouldn't mind paying return postage (hell I'll send two back) in exchange for something that good.

Well I have mine plus a spare. As said would happily send them over in exchange for a pair (one to hold) and then exchange on a cost plus postage basis. Handling one every now and then wouldn't be too outputting.
Just need to locate a LR wrecker in the uK to arrange a bulk shipment of transfer levers for conversion.![]()
Over there the right ones are probably a dime a dozen as it is. Non CDL levers are sold in adult shops for true Land Rover perverts.
I have the D2 of the road at the moment so would be more than happy to send my standard lever over to you.
If you are interested please send me a PM etc.
If .50 is willing should we start a EOI so we can get the units to a central location (I'll volunteer) and make shipping and redistribution cheaper & easier.
There's: myself

Offtrack?
Then again, the unit cost in the UK might be cheaper than shipping per unit from here. Just add a few pounds "finders fee" for sourcing.
i still have mine in the shed i think, whats it worth?.![]()
Crikey lads, I was,nt expecting a reaction like that, !!!!, cheers very much.
Due to much interest from overseas, I have put a few calls out to see how much I can get standard levers for, and it would appear they will be about £20 each.
The could be a couple of problems with this is. As soon as traders see that there is a greater demand for these, they will, inevitabley, put the price up. ( which is a laugh, as they are generally worth nothing ! ). And, they may become harder to find.
The cost of returning a lever to the UK needs to found out !
If I was to send, say 4 or 5 out to a one location, would any savings that were made though combined postage, then be used up by sending them on to other parts of Australia ?.
Would it be cheaper to send old levers to one location, and then send them all together to the UK.
I know that when folks return thier levers to me from within the UK, it only costs about £3.00 !. ( this is second class mail, but is automatically insured for £40.00 ),( which is plenty ).
I am sending a couple out next week, so will ask them at the Post office, how much it would be to send it to 3 or 4 different parts of Australia.
I got a rough price from them this week to go to Western Australia, which was about £35.00 GBP.
Is the CDL embossed knob easily and cheaply available over there ? Here it is about £17.50.
I dont know if the additional wieght of the knob woulkd increase postage cost.
This is still all hypathetical, but IF I sent a lever over, with the proper knob, AND bought an old lever in exchange, then the cost would be about £237.50+ £35.00 postage.
I have,nt got any other quotes for postage, so that MAY come down.
Cheers again for your comments.
