I purchased one of these cdl kits from Del and just got it yesterday. Will put it in ASAP.
Del has made what looks like a quality item using the original shift mechanism. All the parts are of high quality and it is very well put together.
Very glad I got this one as its as close to original as I think you can get and I cannot see it breaking or stuffing up.
Highly recommend this item to anyone considering a kit. I think this is better than the Ashcroft one because it is sealed underneath being the factory lever, not open and relying on a rubber boot like the Ashcroft.
Cheers

I have one of Del's levers fitted to my car here in the UK and can agree with the quality of the workmanship!
:)
Thanks for yor kind words fellas.
I have just finished a 5000 cycle test off one of these levers, and am VERY happy at how it performed.
After a complete strip down, I am unable to find noticable wear on any of the main moving components. All the shaft seals are still in perfect order aswell, and these are what keep the elements out.

Sorted thanks mate ;)
About 5 yrs ago I purchased an Australian kit for more money than what you are estimating for your kit. It is just a T handle that you fit to the drivers side floor, heavy duty cable then a bolt on plate and fitting for the spigot on the transfer case. It works well, built bomb proof, but looks very much the home made afterthought. Had your kit been available back then, I would have happily purchased one so seems good value to me.
My appologies not meaning to hijack the thread but I cant get under mine atm and it was built 6 month of 01. Would it have the CDL in the box do you think?
