Why not make up a cardboard mock-up?
Guys, I have my ARB Winch bar and am getting some extra antenna mounts on the outside corners of the bar like some Opposite Lock bars have on theirs.
What I need to know from anyone with this bar on a D2a is if I were to get two more antenna mounts welded on the bar about inline with bonnet line down each guard would they hit the bonnet if they were the same size as the two in the middle.
I would measure it if I had the bar but its at the panel beaters getting painted next week and as I was leaving he asked this question....
Thanks for the help.

2003 D2a Auto TD5 good Landy gone
2015 D4 probably the most amazing yet, why get a RR?
I just had a look at my ARB winch bar and i think you will get away with it. If you welded the mounts in the same way as the original mounts you'll be fine. There is about 80mm (safe) between the innerrmost point of the bar and the bonnet.

Why do you want them so far out-board? Your very exy uhf antenna will be belted and bent by every bit of scrub if you have it way out there. I can understand if you need it to judge where the LHS of the car is, other than that......?????
If you need help with judgement, why not just drill a hole in the bar and put a cheap aerial with a spring base in there.... keep it as short as possible, just so you can see the top of it and it won't get broken. If it does, it's $10....your UHF antenna is a lot more $$ than that and a lot more important as well.
D4 SDV6, a blank canvas
It might be the spot for a sand flag as well. Just want to get them welded on before the bar is painted so I have options later.
I wont neceassarily use them at all but being an Amateur Radio Operator I tend to have lots of antennas.
I take your point about mounting them on the edges as they could be whacked.

Have you thought about getting your light cluster out, it's hard enough now with the full bar
Cheers

ARB do make some bolt on brackets that will fit either the upper or lower tube, got a couple on mine to connect my "bushcables" to.
ARB can also supply weld on.
Just like the original 2 on the bar.
