Thread: Electric window problem??

My drivers door electric window has stopped all of a sudden.When you push the button you can hear a motor whirring, It is currently open about 10mm and will go up or down 3-5mm only.

Does anyone have any ideas as it has worked fine for the four years I have owned it until now, I currently have it up for sale so I now need to work this out pronto!!

Talk about inconvenient timing!!
