I replaced plastic clips as some were broken and missing. My mechanic had a box of all different trim clips and some of these did the job.
He has lots of ford bits, may have been from this area.
Cost was negligible - just need that good local mechanic that works on a bit of everything.
I've got one in Werribee Vic :)

I just had a new windscreen fitted and O'Briens were adamant that only the genuine ones should be fitted or you will end up with wind noise. Guess what?, the wind noise in mine is now gone after 2 years of noise since the windscreen was replaced the first time by some dodgy brother company recommended by the insurance company.

Thankssss for the advice.
good.
thats the only reasonable way of doing it.
make AAMI sell their kidney:p
I made a claim for a new windscreen yesterday ... broke it on Sunday after the LR Expo ... :(
YOUI say it will be a genuine replacement ... and when O'Briens rang today I made it 100% clear ... Pilkington Opticool ....
... we'll see when they ring tomorrow to book a repair time.
Seems the insurance co's may be in the body organ donor business at the price I believe one of these screens will be :p
