    V8 Oil and Coolant leaks

    Joy oh joy, here comes the fun guys, have had the 2003 D2 V8 since Feb 2011. Apart from rear airbags hasnt put a foot wrong,and here comes that bastard Irishman Murphy. After a full service at ULR in Melbourne which they spotted a couple of minor oil leaks, (mention of leak may be under head at rear) have now started to use a little coolant. So crawled all over her and have found oil passenger side front behind PwrSteer pump and at rear not sure where its coming from but also found coolant spotting on trans, so assumption is head gasket, is this a usual spot for them to go? Also while i have her apart doing the head gaskets is there anything else i shouldpay attention to? To all a huge thanks in advance.

    had a leak that finished up on the transmission on the passenger side,traced it to the bottom radiator hose were it goes onto the water pump,just a thought,did the coolant get changed to oat at the last service,if so it will find all manner of places to run out because i am told on here that it cleanes the old gunk out.the oil leak is probably the power steer pump mine leaks hav.t found were from as yet.

    thanks for that will do a double check of things may be an easier fix than head gaskets, though from new has always had OAT coolant
