eg 4014 Pump failure 3 pumps sticks
4035 outlet valve right hand side rear (power amp with.....

    Has anybody seen these before....

Hi GEK064, I have not seen these fault codes before.

Is there any letter such as P in front of the code?
Normally fault codes have a letter before the number e.g. P1668.

Can you list the fault codes and their descriptions you have found on the Hawkeye diagnostic tool?

Thanks - apparently the first digit can be disregarded, so it's actually 014, 035, 040 - all ABS related...so I need to check the fuse.....just a side note, I like the hawkeye, easy to use and does it quickly and simply...bit like the V8.

The codes are Land Rover fault codes rather than OBDII. The leading "4" appears to be a designator for the SLABS ECU.

The codes are 01.4, 03.5 and 04.0. Without access to Testbook it's a bit difficult to determine what the codes reference. 01.4 turns up in ABS troubleshooting Tech Bulletins so that isn't too bad, the others you'd have to guess. My best guess is 03.x = Modulator solenoids, and 04.x = abs sensors.

Hi GEK064 and OffTrack, thanks for the information about the fault codes.

I also like V8's and the Bearmach Hawkeye diagnostic tool.
