    td5 my2000 immobilised

    Hi Guys

i have a strange one the car wont lock or start or infact do anything except honk the 2 front horns and put the inicators on its imobilised? . i hook the nanocom up to it and it wont read the utility in the valeo ecu but if i hook it to another td5 it reads the EKA codes no problems, it does however turn the power off to the nanocom to stop it reading it then comes back on after 10seconds. We have tried everything that we have read (i hope) to try and get it out of this mode but nothing has worked. (have even put new batteries in remote and charger on main battery). It has had a remap 7 years ago would they change the EKA code when doing this ???

has anyone ever had it this bad and been able to fix it themselves?

    Hiya,

I'm very keen to compare notes about this problem you have as it is pretty similar to my current one.

I'll write more about it later tonight as I'm flat out now.
