Is the front cross bar under the front prop shaft same as D1?
Anyone know if the cross bar underneath the front prop shaft on a D2a is the same as that on a D1?
I just realised today that mine is missing. I suspect perhaps the previous owners solution to stop the tailshaft from hitting it after the suspension lift, but I don't like that, I'd rather pack it a bit (or get a Les Richmond Automotive kit) and get it back on there to retain the vehicles chasis strength and integrity.
So the short of the story is locally I can only find D1's being wrecked, wondering if anyone know is they are the same so that I can get one and fit it?
Had a look under my D1 definitely won't fit on my D2a. Maybe they changed them in the later D1's.
Also I don't know if the V8 vs TD5 makes a difference.
