+1 for the Duratrac. I put 225/75s onto my D2 about 1000kms ago. So far I'm impressed. When aired down to 20 PSI they feel very stable, unlike a few other tyres I've driven on with 20 PSI (Maxxis Bravo 751, Dunlop RoadGripper). Maybe it's the stronger sidewall flexing less?
I paid $305 each from my local fitter in Murgon.
They are no noisier than the Bravo 751s they replaced. I'd bet that they will chew a little more fuel than a HT but it'd be a small difference I'd say.
I'll take a photo after I've washed the vehicle tomorrow so people can see how they look on a stock (250 000kms/original springs and shocks) D2.
