It's all my fault
I have just realised that all the effort is not the Disco's fault it is my fault and the forum's fault :-)
I read the forum almost everyday (mistake) and when I read what someone else has done I think good idea I should look into it.
Or I drive the Disco, and when I get home think let me just pop the bonnet and see if there is anything that needs looking after.
I reckon normal people just drive their cars until they break, and then have it fixed, whereas we all seem to really like our vehicles and need to always make sure they are in good condition.

landrover syndrome
No! not the only one,I had a 2a back in the seventies great fun, many frustrations and cost, went away and came back to the dark side with my current D2 about 5 years ago.
Good design, lousy design, there is something about them that appeals.
Must be a Mascochist.

We all but live on a Golf Course and the wife and one of the dogs are absolute golf addicts......but if I am going Land Rovering and the wife is going to golf, the dog will pick the Land Rover every time!
I reckon that say's it all!
Cheers, Mick.
