    Golf - Landrover Syndrome

    My Landrover is to me the same as Golf, some days I play 18 holes and I swear I will never touch a Golf club again, then I go out and out of 120 shots I hit one perfect putt or drive, and I know that golf is fantastic and I want to play every week.

    My landrover is like that, some days I will repair something, it's cheap, fast and the impact is immediate, then there are other days I go out to do a quick job, and nothing goes right, and while I am doing it I discover 3 expensive things that need doing.

    Am I the only one?

    This observation is what defines the LR owners breed, unique!
    If I could wrap my truck around a tree in the same fashion that one can a 4iron, it would have been done a hundred times over lol!

    Same here - time seems to eav[proate as soon as you peer under the engine cover....

    One of my colleagues is adamant that I've bought a hobby/project rather than a car.....

    I figure 9 holes of golf in the morning to become of sound (sane) mind, then work on the LR in the arvo'throwing a wobbly & breaking a LR component is sooooo much more expensive than a half doz golf balls & a 4 iron lol. Another reason being, if ya drop the F or C bomb on the golf course, chances are u won't be heard, drop either of those whilst in the car port & ya get a kick in the balls not only from the truck but the GLW too!!!!!😂

    That sounds about right !

    I'm a muso, and have played guitar with a passion for the last 38yrs ... until I bought my D2a.

    I hardly play at all now (and I have a really nice collection of premium quality instruments) .... I don't know why ... I just don't ... but I love my Land Rover. Ask the family

    Ha! I've not touched my guitar much since getting over here from the UK, I didn't have a Landrover back there though. If it's not the lack of time it's the fact that the fingers are still grubby enough to ruin the strings in a very short time (I'm no great player btw!)
