Question Broken Brake Servo connector into V8 plenum

Finally the boss has had enough of the greasy puddle left by my Disco2 in the company carpark!! Decided to strip down to the head gaskets and up through the sump to the timing cover as all the major gaskets seem to be weeping! Taking apart the upper manifold on the V8 I've managed to break the little red release collar on the inlet plenium where the brake vacuum hose connects. I can't see it as a part in the microcat parts catalog and am wondering if it is available, or alternatively is there a way to fix the pipe in there using silicone or something? Knowing LR they'll want me to but the whole Plenium chamber... which is not going to happen! Thanks guys!

Does the Hose Assembly, Brake Vacuum SQB103230 include the broken part? Microcat doesn't give any detail, it just shows the hose connecting to the plenum.

Did you look at part no. ERR6880 or LKL000080 (depends on the VIN) in MicroCat? Not having any knowledge of a D2, I can't be sure if that is the part you need.

The red part is the push lock. I couldn't get one from my usual suppliers, it might be a UK buy,
I bought the car with out it and didn't even know about it until I saw pics of other V8's with the red collar.
The mistake people make is not pushing in the red collar which releases the metal internal claws.
I was doing a web search on the matter yesterday, co incidence.
The info I got it is only vacuum and no pressure so the reading I found was to put the black hose back in and apply a bit of silicon on it.
I've driven for the last 6months without the red collar and no problems.

    the part number is LZN100220L
pic shows it the front is plugged, you remove the plug and insert hose.

I plugged that no. into Microcat and it takes one to the right page and gives the callout no. But it's not in the picture!

Ditto on the P38A page. It is, however, displayed on the Freelander section.

Thanks guys, great info and comforting to know I can source the part. I'll probably end up using silicone for now until I can get one. Appreciate the quick response though. Cheers
