    cars that learn---

Drove the car from the mechanics to the nearest servo this morning, both fuel lights glowing fairly brightly,
car running very badly, still barely running even after a new maf, cursing every mech under the sun, it just crested the hill and coasted into the servo(it still had fuel,, these things cough once and die, no spluttering). Full of gas and PULP I turned back towards the mechs workshop, when after a few kays it actually ran on at least 5 cylinders, this was downhill mind--
a few more kays and it ran on 8! briefly, along the back of the airport( I took a punt and kept going past the workshop--)
it actually cruised along at 60 from there it was a 30 minute blast along several toowoomba backroads at whatever speed I desired

    so they do learn/change tune.

a hell of a way to find out though,,

it still doesnt start properly though, sigh.

even fozzy starts first turn of the key. (of course sometimes when its cold enough I have to crank it for 2-3 minutes)

    all but two!

and yes, two, LPG and unleaded.

It never matters how much fuel is in the car when I drop it off,, when I pick it up its always empty,,

That is weird..... Mine's just had that very symptom.... and after a new MAF and plugs... And with a mapping restart.

Coughs when you start. Ran on 3 then 4 then 8 cylinders. Chuff Chuff Chuff.... then OK.

So I should be relaxed because it will sort itself out....?

Guy from the LR mech said it would but idle's still lumpy! Very disconcerting.
