New compressor, new bags, still no workie...

I have put in a Viair aircompressor and 2 new air bags but I can't get the compressor to work.
Connections are fine, fuse and relay are fine, in fact I can turn the compressor on by closing the relay switch manually (yellow top off and push it closed).
Each of the valve block connections are showing 3.2volts but I'm getting no power to compressor.
Could the level sensors in the back be playing up?
Everything was working (before the compressor died).

Any hints on where to look next or how to test the height sensors?

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard.

Started engine, closed all the doors ? The compressor won't run unless engine's on and doors are closed ... and some have mentioned they had to move/drive the vehicle to get the compressor to kick in ... not on my 04 D2a though.

Engine & doors closed, up she goes.

    Ah haa...Thanks Kev,
I will go and give that a try! Mind you while I was investigating this morning I found a big nail in one of the rear tyres, so I pulled it out and down she went...
Will change that and have a go.

Yes , I had one of those string patches in TEMPORARILY for 5 years when it started to leak.
    Damn things are so unreliable.

The thing that annoys me is that I had tyre 'goo' in that tyre. Alas to no avail...
