I'd prob start by getting some contact cleaner & give the xyz switch in the side of your gearbox a good clean up. Could be only dust & road grime etc causing the intermittent issue.
Went to go for a drive this morning and on start up had the 'M', 'S' and gear selected (on the little LCD under the odometer) flashing. I didn't notice anything until I went to drive up our driveway and had a lot less power.
After getting to the top, I found I had a little more power in it, but ended up doing a U-turn and heading for the garage.
I did a quick search on here to find out some info, however when I jumped in to start again everything seemed ok.
Ended up going for the drive (about 5 hours) and had no further issues...
Should I be worried?

I got that after having my D2 for one week. That was over a year ago, and it hasn't returned. Normally it indicates a fault with the auto transmission.
