"Mule" (as is affectionately known by family members) had a fun outing to Girard State Forrest & got a yet to be fitted Aldi winch on special for $300. Thanks to the bro for phoning me when he spotted it. With lowered tyre pressures it tip toed across a stream that we bridged with logs while the young-ins faltered in their jap wagons. Very nice Christmas.
Santa got my D2 a 2" suspension lift from Suspension Stuff.
Like all pre-teens, one present was not enough, so while the suspension was 'in the mail', on the 22nd she spat a uni out of the front driveshaft.
So she got a set of Hardie Spicer universals as well...
Unfortunately for the Camper Trailer, Santa could no longer afford a replacement deep cycle battery... :(
I actually got a D2 for Christmas, however it broke before NYE!
Mine has been a spoilt brat. First, new brake pads & rotors, today a Roverdrives transfer box extra capacity sump (fitted this arvo), and she has a new front driveshaft in the mail from the USA! (See separate posting about what happened to my front shaft!)
Mine got a change of oil, gearbox service, diff oil change and transfer oil change. Purring like a kitten. More like a lion ! Have to get that centre straight through pipe replaced with a muffler - drones like a ****** when towing :D
Because mine has been very good this year, it got new shoes...

I just put (Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac) 225/75's onto mine. They look much better than the old Maxxis 751s that were almost illegal. I'll see how they go in the sand on Fraser Island next week.
And some canvas seat covers from Exmoor Trim. I'll stick a photo up one of these days...they are the best value that I could I could find despite coming out of the UK.
