'Mine' got some tinted weather shields to replace the scratched up clear ones, some new Hella 2 tone horns after the factory ones died of mud ingestion...

And it got a new 'owner' - My darling wife has taken a liking to it

Mine got SFA,not for any reason,as t has been very good,it just doesn't need anything ATM,except a bo peep under the bonnet,& underneath.

As with Tombie, can't get my wife out of the drivers seat, she loves it.

Although it is getting on & there is talk of replacing it with we dunno yet, althoughthere is a good chance it will have the green oval on it

I cringe when I hear this... Its proof we all are subject to marketing forces..

6 years is NOT a long time - Why do we accept this as a long time for a vehicle... Farmers wouldn't!!! Truck Drivers wouldn't...

If its clean and tidy and playing the game... Stick with it and give it some TLC Cheaper in the long run...

My D2 is 11... And going like a train.... (With dimpled paint from the big storm we had in Whyalla - 34mm of rain in 8 minutes and hail up to the size of Softballs....)

Rocker cover gaskets and a degrease.

Interesting job completed yesterday. Also bought a new tool, telescopic magnet. Paid itself off just after removing the LH cover. Bolt rolled into the head......excellent but retrievable. This was a sweating bullets moment.

Why would you put the coil pack there?. All but memories.

    Regards
    Andrew

    I'm hearing ya..........
It is 71/2 yrs old & still going strong, one of the best cars i have owned.I could load it tomorrow & do the Old TelyTrack,no probs at all.

The depreciation on a newey is enough to put me off without all the other stuff.

your right though,we are all suckers to those market forces at times.

    Hey,but you have a newy i believe
