Transmission Oil Change
Just done a replacement of transmission fluid. (Nulon fully synth multi vehicle)
Removed radiator/oil cooler, intercooler so that I could clean out a lot of grass seeds I managed to get stuck in the cores during an off road excursion on my last WA trip, and thought I would take the opportunity to try and completely clean out all fluid in these not normally gotten to places.
Anyhow, after losing about 3 litres to the oil cooler quick connect fittings popping off during the refill I finally got my 2mm bead flowing.
Question: Is it safe to put a bit extra in the tranny... say another 500ml... without causing a problem.?

Probably not a good idea, I'd think that the overfill and fluid expansion may cause a few seal leaks etc. Better tow stick with the procedure in the manual.

Always overfill ours by about 200ml to 500ml . Never had a problem,, they have a breather. Saw a post on here a while back suggesting it was the preferred way.
