    D2 steering a little vague

    My D2 with 180k steering feels a little wooly with the steering wheel straight ahead, I read here on previous posts and rave about steering box adjustment bolt?
    The free play is more pronouced with eng not running, Ive had a wheel alinement done and checked all else.
    Any ideas?

    Have you checked the steering damper?

    The wheel alignment bloke reckoned damper was ok
    Anyway I found the SB adjuster (removed battery box) T-30 torx and 18mm locknut
    Adjusted/tighten a couple of turns whislt checking full lock turns for binding, seems to have adjusted out free play.
    Will road test when I finished replacing lower rad hoses...
