    TD5 engine wiring loom plug wont connect

    I have just changed my engine wiring loom on my td5 2000 model to a 2004 loom which has fixed my oil in the loom problem runs real smooth now, only thing i didn't know the 2004 loom wont plug into air temp sensor on the air box four wire plug not three, whats the easy fix for this

    Easy - Replace sensor! (Not cheap by a long shot)

    Maybe i should get a used one off bundelene then as he did a good price on the loom. it's just the sensor i need right?

    It looks like it.

    The 4th pin is a temperature sensor output that isn't used on the early (EU2) TD5's. The additional harness wire is connected to what is an unused pin (C0158-31) on the early ECU so it won't have any effect.
