Thread: Buying a used vehicle checklist

Righty ho...I'll start this off with...

1. Diesel leak(s) from above fuel tank. Common problem due to chaffing of fuel lines.
2. Diesel leak from fuel cooler.
3. Clunking noise from rear suspension...Watts Linkage bush worn..
4. Intercooler hoses split or de laminated internally

I'm sure I can think of more....this is just a start....

5. Leaking sun roof......
6. Worn engine/gearbox mounts....you will know if they are buggered...

7. Has the oil pump bolt been checked (Td5) ?
