go to " electronic diagnostics", have a good read, ask the question there, I'm sure you will find the answer. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

ADONUF/Andrew says he may still have photos of this fix.

I would LOVE to see them if you could find the time to up-load them.

    Cheers.

Don't know if this is the answer your looking for.

MR Automotive: I know it's paying some one else to do work for you but it gives me the peace of mind that's it's done probably

They have any fix you require... The prevention is better than the cure.

I have had my wiring loom done and the 'old sump, oil pump bolt' issue remidied as well.

I normally find back yard jobs get you back yard results, I like to have warranty and know that they are familiar with the procedure and intern have quality control ect.

    I hope this helps.

I assume that the wiring loom "fix" was just replacing it?

If so, that's only a short term fix as it's likely to happen again. Just one of the weaknesses of having the wiring loom inside rocker cover - apparently other manufacturers do it diffrenetly and don't have this issue.
