Thread: Dust in boot space

I've started doing 30km a day on very dry dirt roads and I've discovered the boot liner is getting a build up of dirt/dust. I reckon it's coming in thought the drivers side vent at the back of the boot. Has anyone had this? Has anyone successfully blocked the vent so dirt and dust doesnt come in?

Someone gave me a minor ding there while I was shopping at Bunnings (no, no one saw nuffin, sigh). In the process of pushing the ding back out from the inside I decided to also tape up the air vent flaps (they flip to let air out but leak a bit the other way). Result is less dust but a bit harder to close the doors - worth it IMO.
(Although Nanny state might reckon I'm trying to asphyxiate my potential passengers)
