I've used Rimmer Bros to good effect a few times.
I've also used Paddocks but the eventual shipping costs ruled out the purchase at the time - but they were very helpful nonetheless.
Craddocks is also another to look at....

Could someone please give me a heads up on a good English website to buy bits @ pieces for my D2? Cheers, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I've used paddocks too and found them to be good. Another is the Rimmer Bros (which always makes me laugh until I nearly pee) in the Uk which I know some forum guys use. Im finding it hard to get a genuine air flow meter from either of them at the moment though! I have also used Roverparts here in Victoria for a more local flavour and although slightly dearer, have been great too.
I reckon everyone will give their two cents worth here - You always need a good parts supplier with a Landy![]()

Here's a good one.
Britcar (UK) Ltd
Use them all the time, never had a probelm. Prices on the site if you know the part numbers.

They don't know everything.
I bought a Hawkeye from them, they told me I need a cable to go with it.
Charged an extra 70 Pound for it. When it arrived the hawkeye box came standard with the cable they said I needed.
When contacted , "OH WE DIDN'T REALISE A CABLE CAME WITH IT"
wonder how long the original cables last before I can use the same replacement
British Car Components - spares and parts for British cars, Melbourne Victoria, Australia in Melbourne for stuff I need in a hurry.
Quality Land Rover Parts Spares and Accessories Online as a first choice for UK sourced parts, and BritCar UK for the stuff they don't have.
Have used most of the ones mentioned thus far as I shop around a lot. A good way is to google on the part number and just see what turns up.
FamousFour is another option that's not too bad but my favourite is LRDirect. I really like how they give you all the options, from Britpart (won't touch with a barge pole after multiple disappointments) to LR Genuine. Only slight catch is you need to search on the part number, they don't have an online catalog.
I don't ask for advice, I just purchase the part's I need although I did ask for a genuine part one time and they sent a after market part instead. I got back onto them and they then sent the genuine part at no charge. I sold the after market part on Ebay. Did you ask for a credit? Worst case just send it back for $20 bucks, you are still in front. (I also just deal with the guy that owns/runs it. I have his email address which I just flick a list to).

I used Island 4x4 for the first time last week.
As it's only been 5 days since I ordered I have not yet got the items, but from what I have read they are good to deal with.
So far : their prices are really good and their communication has been great and my order has moved through from order to dispatch nice and fast. (Or so their tracking system says.)
I'll let you know how it turns out.

To my mind there are 2 main places, LRDirect and Devon4x4.
LRDirect for all your regular LR parts, Devon for any aftermarket stuff.
If your looking for a remap then Pete at Bellautos is your man.
