Yep this has been asked and stated many times before. Just flip a coin to get your answer before you fill up at the bowser.

I use E10 6.9 out of 7 times and it's fine. Needless to say people think you should use premium for better performance blah blah blah. I have a 2003 V8 and there is bugger all difference in performance and nothing to justify the additional costs. Also my economy is <17l/100 around town.

I only use 98, it "pings" like a bugger if I run 91 and isn't much better with 95. I'm not sure I've ever seen e10 over here in the west, not that I look for it.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Inside the filler (at least on mine) there's a sticker says 95 RON.
Regular ULP is 91, and the good gear is 98.
Pick your own adventure, but I run what's recommended.
We don't get the "E" stuff up here (that I've noticed...probably boil out before it got here anyway) so can't comment on it's suitability

Geez, do we have to go through the facts that the last of the D2As had 9.25:1 approx CR and requires 98 but that all previous are 8.13 and can use 91? AGAIN?

Look on the engine number pad and the CR will be listed.

Dunno about Discos but I won't put it in my bike or my mower as it'll root both
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I understand it is 92 octane - only one octane point higher than 91 ulp.

Pretty sure this is just a typo and should be 9.38:1.

My D2A is all good on E10 and also no pinging.

Just do what works at the end of the day. As you can see give them all a go.

I also use it in the mower, hedger and brush cutter. All Hondas and also no problems. Love Honda.
