Question Spring height uneven left to right after suspension lift

It's been a week since I finished the 4" suspension lift on my D2a. As well as fitting the LRA 2" spacer kit I replaced my front springs with new Ironman constant load springs.

The Ironman springs are marked DS and NS which I took to mean 'drivers side' and 'near side' (as in nearest side to the gutter/kurb). I fitted the springs as such and found that the vehicle was not sitting flat, rather it is sitting higher on the passenger side (NS). A week after it is still sitting higher by approximately 30mm.

Has I misinterpreted DS and NS? The springs seemed to be the same length when compared prior to fitting.

I'm going to contact Ironman tomorrow to see if I can return them as aside from the substantially unevenness of them, I don't like how they have so many coils, from what I understand it indicates that they are made from cheaper lower grade steel, not the more expensive high stress steel (e.g. X5K spring steel) that enables less coils (more coils means more weight and increases the solid height meaning less travel).

I wonder if the springs were made overseas (eg Britain) where they drive on the opposite side of the road? (A long-shot.)

Doesn't seen right that the springs were the same length, unless one is stronger than the other.

My recently fitted Dobinson +20mm front springs were marked "R" for the drivers side spring, which was longer than the "L" or passenger side.

There must be any easy explanation, good luck. Unfortunately it's not so easy having to remove and refit them!

Spoke to Ironman today who were of no help. There technical department is not around for the next few days. The product manager is overseas and might respond to me eventually if I e-mail him.

    Pretty much no help.

I does seem that you do not have a matching pair of springs.

Do you refer to the bottom of the springs where it sides on the pads/cones (what ever you want to call them) on the diff? If so, the answer is yes. I actually didn't do it properly initially and had to quickly go back and spin one of them 90* into the correct place...

the drivers side will be slightly longer and potentially a tiniest bit stiffer... is the spacer kit all in square?/ why did you use the spacer kit and not just get 4"coils?

Yes, have measured and checked, the spring seats are at the same height.

Spacer kit is more complete as it lifts the rear SLS, drops the rear watts linkage, rear ACE mounts, brakes lines, front diff castor, drops the bump stops down, etc.

I figured since I am retaining the rear SLS, and therefore have to use spacers on them, why extend the front suspension travel when the rear suspension travel will not be increased?

Also, would have had to replace the front shock absorbers which are only 3,000km old at the moment.
