    Help with Diagnostics

Gday All, I'm looking for someone in Brisbane ( preferrably south side but not essential) with a Nanocom 1 or other compatible diagnostic tool to clear ECU faults and possibly upload a new fuel map for my 2004 D2 V8, formerly a 4.0 now a 4.6 .
Apparently there are some settings on the ECU that need to be reset for optimum performance after the conversion to the 4.6 .....
Desperately looking for someone with some knowledge about this as it is all a bit beyond me.

If anyone out there can help or knows someone that can it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

As far as I'm aware none of the commonly available diagnostic tools i.e. Nanocom and Hawkeye can upload fuel maps to the Motronic ECU. You might be able to do so with a Testbook T4 Workstation, but that means a visit to a dealer.

Resetting adaptive values for the Motronic can be done with the Nanocom, and I'd assume the Hawkeye too.

I'd offer but you'd be faced with a bit of a drive

Gday Pedro, yep the 4L ECU will run a 4.6 (my 4.6 is running one now) but there are some settings that need to be reset according to the tech savvy crowd.
Only going on what ive been told but apparently the Motronic is able to be loaded with new fuel maps also for better performance. I just need someone with the tools and the know how now - not real keen on a trip to the dealers i dont think i would be happy with either the bill or the results.
