CDL actuator
Hey Guys, Ive been thinking about using a 12v actuator that I have sourced, it is hermetically sealed and uses a small circuit board inside a case that would sit up under dash then switch to wherever, I know its been done before and I not reinventing the wheel but I think this if done properly would work well, actuator is sealed and would be fitted with a rubber boot to also seal rod, bracket to hold and wires would be easy to get up into the cab perhaps near the consol, for about $150 for everything needed to make it work seems like a viable option to cable, If anyone has done this before and had problems that I didnt think about let me know, also it can be fitted with a remote fob (extra $50) so no switch needed, just a thought at this stage but have roughly placed it and seems good to go.
cheers
