Thread: Noisy Fuel Pump

    .Update.

So my fuel pump arrived on the 27th April from the UK and I had forgotten to order a new fuel filter so I decided I would wait until I got one. And then I would install my new pump.

It was my birthday that weekend and as a present I got a TAG-ALONG 4x4 voucher which I used the following weekend.

    (The weekend just gone)

I had a great time and apart from several scratchs on my duco I really enjoyed getting dirty and the truck just ate it up.

When I washed it Sunday afternoon(Many Hours) there was complete silence as I turned the key.

No noise from the fuel pump any-more.

I thought I was dreaming. So I turned the key off and on again and still silence.

Today is wednesday and still quite as a mouse.

I dont know what happened but obviously the offroading dislodged some gunk or something that was making the pump work hard.

I have shelved the new pump for the day when it will be needed.

And am in two minds as to whether to take out the old pump and have (A LOOK).To see what might have been the issue.

    Cheers.

I can always hear mine if I listen carefully.
