    D2a Original Body Height

Anyone happen to know the "as new" D2a measurements from ground to under the top of the front and rear wheel arches or some similar measurement please? I'm trying to determine how high the body should originally have been before I start playing.
I vaguely remember some comment/s quite a while ago, but now can't find any reference. Cheers Gavin

It varies between cars and there is a range of standard heights but:

Typical measured standard hub to guard heights are:
    Front 475mm
Rear coil 470mm, and IIRC SLS was a little different.

All but 1 measured example sat at the lowest specified ride height from RAVE when new or newish.

    RAVE Specifications:
    Front 500mm +/-15
    Rear coil 483 +/-15
    Rear SLS 473 +/-15
    Cheers

Isn't there a height measurement on one of the interior sunvisors?
It's there for underground carpark heights & the like.

Even those are incorrect generally. I think it had 1980mm to the top of the rails, where mine never came to that height until I put a 2" lift into it.

No probs. Its in the general data section rather than the mechanical section.
    Cheers
